Department of Pathology and Veterinary Diagnostics

The department consists of three Departments and one Studio. The scientific activity of the Department’s employees includes extensive research in the field of: laboratory diagnostics, bird diseases, exotic animals, pathomorphology and pathophysiology of animals and diseases of utility insects.

The Department provides services – we have a veterinary diagnostic laboratory, pathology services (anatomopathological examinations, histopathological examinations, cytopathological examinations), an exotic animal diagnosis clinic, a poultry and bird diagnosis clinic (clinical, autopsy, embryopathological, serological, parasitology), a cardiology clinic and a utility insect disease laboratory (tests of winter scatter, bee samples, brood samples and others).
