The main research areas at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine are: morphology of mammals and birds, biological foundations of animal growth and development, diagnostics and pathomechanisms in infectious and invasive diseases, diagnostics and therapy of companion animal diseases, diagnostics and therapy of system and organ diseases in farm animals and horses, pathology and diagnostics of selected infectious and non-infectious diseases of animals, food safety of animal origin and legal basis of veterinary activity.
